K&N Cross reference
This is the GS500 K&N drop in filter. Anyone notice a resemblance?
I'm taking the carbs off tomorrow. I'll also be checking the flange diameter so we can know what size pod filter to shop for. ![]() Login or Register to Remove Ads |

The Suzki Part # for the replacement parts are:
13780-01D00 - GS500 13780-13F00 - GZ250 How big of a difference could there be? The size of the K&N box for the GS500 filter has exactly the same dimensions as a box that our filter would fit into. -Jonathan |

I ran dual pods on my Ninja a few years ago with no side-effects in the rain. Since the GZ has a much smaller engine and the filter area is pretty exposed, I might tend to agree with you.
I'll let you know after I finish jetting the bike. I'll also be posting a write-up on removing the air box and installing pods with jetting after all is said and done. I also post pictures. ![]() |
