Please keep in mind that loud pipes do not save lives. A loud pipe is only heard by folks behind you, not anywhere else. There will be a few exceptions to the rule of course. I once had a friend "Andy" with a Vstrom 1000 with aftermarket mufflers..............very loud. I could hear his bike 300 or 400 feet behind me. I would never ride behind him for fear of hearing damage. Andy was already 90% deaf so he had no idea how loud the bike really was.

any one got some pipe ideas that fit stock pipes ?

I measured the diameter of my pipe and looked around online and found some on ebay to fit. All I had to do was find the look I wanted.
