Re: New Senior Rider
Welcome ninnipapa!!!!,
I'm in St. Cloud, MN & let me first congratulate you on finding this awesome forum of supportive new GZ riders.! I don't know what I would have done without the support, encouragement & advice from the friendly folks here. To save you some trouble, if you are looking for some people to ride with, check out http://www.womenonwheels.org/statehtml/minnesota.html It is not exclusively for women, for example, my chapter has 4-6 guys. Re: New Senior Rider
Welcome! I'm a member of the 60+ club too, just joined this June. Does PaPa have a bike? Also wondering if that Porta Potty is heated? (The one in your picture)

Re: New Senior Rider
Thanks for the welcome, and Mary, thanks for the link. I will check it out. Yes, Papa has a bike too----he's been riding his Honda Shadow 600 back and forth to work (about 20 mi commute) for many years. I never really enjoyed riding as a passenger but it's a whole different feeling driving. Funny, someone mentioned I'd be thinking of a bigger bike by next year at this time. We've already talked about maybe two bigger bikes next fall and maybe a real road trip when Papa retires. By the way that porta potty is on our neighbors lake lot---Papa didn't check out the view when he took the shot.

Re: New Senior Rider
Don't know the brand of the windshield----I had the dealer put one on and he said this was the only one they had in stock that fit this bike. At first I wasn't sure I liked the black tint at the bottom but it doesn't interfere with visibility at all and it looks great. Rain again here today---hoping for some "indian summer" weather to ride again before putting away for the winter.
