Same here, except they don't always have the oil filter and the crush washer at the same time.

It appears that the end has twisted off, so YES it appears to be broken.

I buy most proprietary parts from Ron Ayers. Here is the site for the microfiche. Just pick out the part and you can order it right up.

This is for a 2006 ($22.72 + shipping), but you should pick your year, although I'm fairly sure they're all the same. 2006 Speedo
