The importance of boots
I learned very quickly (1/2 a mile or so) that a good pair of solid leather "riding" boots is a must. No matter how good a set of rain pants you have, if you don't have boots that make it up inside...

I dunno, Sarris, I've only had my bike for about a month and a half also, and the pads on it squeak pretty much all the time, too. Occassionally (sp?) they'll stop, but there isn't a rhyme or reason...
