Re: Hello From CA
As a fellow southern Californian and former GZ owner, you will be very happy with the GZ as long as you don't expect too much. For staying here in the LA area, it will be great as long as you're not...

Re: My Bike Wont Shift From First
I'd drain the old oil and put in fresh oil and a new filter and see it that helps. Out of curiosity, how much oil did it take to top it off? And by top it off, you mean seeing the proper level in the...

Re: Log your rides
My favorite parts of cayuse's ride report is when I read the word "Chilliwack." Cracks me up for some reason.

Re: Ted Nugent
I was just able to sit down and read this interview. "Only for a few seconds" - so was it a phone interview, Alan?

Met Alan C for a ride
Alan and I met up for a ride on Angeles Crest Highway today, 60 miles of sweepers, tight curves, mountain vistas, and sunshine, with a high point of close to 8,000 feet above sea level. A couple of...

Re: Cold Weather Starting (Kind of)
Use the choke if the bike has been sitting that long. It's normal to need choke when you start up, unless the bike has only been sitting for an hour or two after a decent ride. You will wear out your...

Re: Denver to Atlanta
I liked the Corbin that was on my Nighthawk when I sold it. My longest day on it was about 275 miles. Butt-wise, I think I could've gone significantly further. I'm still looking forward to a long...
