Re: Exhaust
This is the one I used:
Jardine Rumbler Amazon Link (http://amzn.com/B000GS3LJS) which went on with no welding, just the supplied band clamps.

Re: GZ250 "Street Fighter" - Work in Progress
Quite a few people have complained that the stock horn is not very loud, yet on my European GZ it's fine. I wonder if this could be yet another of the differences, to comply with some American nanny...

Re: GZ250 "Street Fighter" - Work in Progress
I put the new pipe on using the stock bracket. The Jardin muffler actually has a threaded hole on the inside that lined un with the stock. I measured the stock to the point before the stock...

Re: GZ250 "Street Fighter" - Work in Progress
I have only filled up the tank once, so I'll post MPG once it's all done. AS for chopping off the fender vs just removing it, I needed to put the plate and brake light somewhere, but after I put the...

Re: Fairing on Suzuki GZ250?
Unless I missed something Jonathan's running a more traditional, stock look with a larger fairing. The smaller one is off jaimeq's cafe racer. I've seen him post on here before...

Re: GZ250 "Street Fighter" - Work in Progress
This is exactly what I do. It's still interesting though at low speed, because of the need to operate the clutch. I accepted that riding around town on a bobber style bike, I'd be ok with hand...

Bobber / Chopper Discussion
I see a bunch of guys and gals on here who are doing various bobber/chopper/cafe racer style mods. If you'd be interested in starting some discussions about ideas, suggestions, or questions post...

Re: going for it!
Agree with all of this :2tup: This is exactly what I did. The Jardine Muffler I used has a full Baffle in it to compensate for the much wider output. As long as you have some time, and are willing...

Re: 16T vs 15T sprockets
I'm not sure either, but with the 15T, I never got anywhere near that. Do you shift at a pretty high RPM?

Re: GZ250 "Street Fighter" - Work in Progress
The brake light is good. The handlebar blinkers are OK, but I use hand signals for every turn or lane change anyway. I do have one more plan for these though. See the holes at the end of the frame...

Re: 16T vs 15T sprockets
I've had a grea experience bumping from the 15T to the 16T. In combination with new Air Intake, Exhaust, and the 130 Main Jet, this bike has become very fun to ride, and can now safely handle...
