Orlando Newbie
Good afternoon all. I just purchased a 2002 GZ250 last Friday and the guy told me how great this site was for information and help. Just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi.
I already have to do some maintenance to (new rear tire, adjust some little things), but for $1200 and 7100 miles, I think I did alright. I look forward to doing lots of things to this bike (its my first!) and I am sure I will be bugging you all very soon. P.S. Don't worry, I ALWAYS search for at least 3 keywords before I ask a question, I hate when people do that on forums. BTW, does drilling holes in the muffler help? Just Kidding! If you drill holes in your muffler, you will automatically achieve 25HP and your top speed will increase to 100mph. Not only that, your bike will sound a Ducati Monster and you will able to sell it for $4500.
Good luck |

Welcome David. The GZ is a fantastic first bike to ride and learn wrenching.

You'll want a 3 inch drill bit and make sure that you swiss cheese the entire muffler, not just the back plate.
THIS IS A JOKE |
