So I'm thinking of relocating my R&R assy......
... further away from my engine.
I have just ended the life of my third r&r in 30k miles *roughly estimated cuz I'm to lazy to check my odo* I had a yamaha once that was known for this problem cuz it's r&r was to close to the rear of the engine and it would overheat and fail. I moved it aside the swingarm which helped greatly. Thinking of trying this on this GZ now. Any thoughts? Login or Register to Remove Ads |

By all means.....The more air the cooler it will stay & last much longer.....I had the same problem on a Yamaha....RR under a side cover)....moved it to open air & no more problems.
