Trip though the Mountains and Big Bend

I'm thinking about taking a camping trip in the Big Bend area. While I'm at it maybe go through the mountain area. Heres a picture of my planned route.

The trip as planned on mapquest comes out to roughly 420 miles. I might just skip the mountains on this trip and go straight to big bend. Does anyone ever camp on this bike. Ive been camping a lot as a kid, but I do not know what I should bring on a motorcycle. Heres my small list of things i know I need.
- Small tent and sleeping bag
- Small foldable chair
- Backpack with clothing
- Small skillet and mess kit
- Med kit and emergency equipment
- Candles and lightweight lanterns
- Fire Starters
- Water purification tabs and bug repellent
- Small hatchet and multi tool
- Fishing equipment and small .22 rifle
- Small cooler with food
Is there anyone that knows of anything that will make the trip safer and more enjoyable, or any more vital equipment. I dont want to get too much weight, any info on how much weight is suitable for a long trip on this bike. Any heads up will be helpful, Im hoping on lots of enjoyment and pictures. Ill try and keep you posted.
