Newbe Here
Well lads, I guess that I am the newest of the new here. After repeated failed attempts and through the tireless help of John I have finally arrived. Been riding for around 30 yrs. Ridden and wrenched on Hondas,Yamahas,Kawis,BMWS, suzuki, and Harleys. This 99 Gz is my first Suzuki and so far so good. Living in upstate NY the winters are long so I try to ride whenever the weather permits and there is no snow. At 66yrs I still cant get enough. It looks like with the gas prices the way they are, I finally did something right with this bike. Looking forward to learning alot and giving any knowledge I have gained in the last 30 yrs.

Re: Newbe Here
Welcome,
I found the best way to keep the GZ in good running order was to keep gas in it and ride it like you stole it. :2tup:

Re: Newbe Here
OH GOD NO not ANOTHER New Yorker :puke:
Welcome to the group, looking forward to picking your brain and giving WW a rest (he's a great wealth of knowledge ) The mpg's on the GZ are a wonderful thing... after riding against a tropical storm for a week I have been rewarded with three tanks at 75 mpg :2tup: Ride safe and enjoy
