K&N production request

I've sent in a request to K&N to design a replacement air filter for our bikes. I think it might help if everyone sends one in. It might speed along the process.

http://www.knfilters.com/products_needed/

It will only take a few minutes of your time and it could possibly end up benfitting everyone.

I'd really appreciate it.

Even if you don't think you'll ever use this product, it would be a nice option to have, considering that you'll never have to buy another air filter....

Thanks,
Jonathan

I have done my part for the betterment of the GZ250. Hopefully you are right, with a onslaught of requests, maybe we'll get their attention!

Air Filter

Don't they make a universal clamp on tube type for our 32mm carbs about 3" long? Wouldn't that be what we need?

Sure, if you want a universal filter. I'm talking about a replacement drop-in filter.

This is a response from K&N about the need of product requests in order to speed along production.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Jonathan,
Thank you very much for your interest our products. The best way to let our R&D know there is an increasing demand for a certain product (which you have all ready done) is to fill out the form on our site requesting the product. That form really does go to our R&D and let them know of the demand. Unfortunately we do not have a pre-order process for filters; our filter must meet every standard we have to live up to the K&N name. As soon as a filter is released you will be one of the 1st to know, because you filled out the request form. You may want to recommend to your friends to have them fill out the form, the more the better.
If you have additional questions, please contact our Customer Support department at (800) 858-3333
Thank you for writing,
