You're aware they are selling new for $2,999? (I think?)

Yeah but yours is 10 about to be 11 years old. I am not telling you what to do at all, but that is way too much to ask in my opinion, i bought a 2003 4 years ago for 1,300 I think, it was either 12-1,300 dollars. Now I am not saying that there is not someone out there that will pay that, just suggesting that you may be sitting on that bike for a long time at that price. Ask Alan, he is practically giving his away and yet it is still sitting in his garage.

Yeah, mine's an '08 has about 5K miles, a windshield, sissy bar, Suzuki bags. Couldn't get a bite at $1800.00, but I'm not exactly a motivated seller. Prices might be higher where you are - I kind of thought we had decent prices here though...

Re: CLEAN!! 2000 Suzuki GZ 250 - $2,500 OBO
I bought my 2002 GZ last year with 470 original miles. Paid $1400 in mint condition (except for old cracked tires which I replaced). So yea, your price is probably way high.

Re: CLEAN!! 2000 Suzuki GZ 250 - $2,500 OBO
I bought my 06' with 5k miles for $1.2k, I got it from a guy who had to get rid of it pretty quickly but still I think anything over $2k is pretty high.

Re: CLEAN!! 2000 Suzuki GZ 250 - $2,500 OBO
I could be wrong, but I think what aleishear is saying is that the OBO (Or Best Offer) is what she's looking for. So, if her best offer is less than $1200 then she would consider it. I think.
When I bought my 2005 it was in great shape and only had about 2,000 miles on it. I think I paid $2 grand, but that was in 2008, so the bike was only 3 years old then. I sold it for $1450 about a year and a half ago with around 13,000 miles on it. |

Re: CLEAN!! 2000 Suzuki GZ 250 - $2,500 OBO
Thanks for all your suggestions. Where I live in MD there are a lot of high dollar individuals and so many of them would be willing to spend a couple extra dollars.
Thanks again! |

Re: CLEAN!! 2000 Suzuki GZ 250 - $2,500 OBO
Aleish... If you get any extra "high dollar" individuals after you sell, please send 'em in my direction!
In any event, good luck selling your bike. If you do sell, I'd be very interested (probably others on here, too) in knowing what you ultimately get for it if you care to share. I did notice the price of gas when up, like a quarter a gallon, over the last week or so out here - that always helps MC sales...
