Took a trip today.

Took a trip today and never left home. Got on to Goggle maps and visited Alantf's island home. Beautiful place with lots and lots and lots of hills and corners. I think the only flat ground there is an airport runway. Bikes are very common and probably the best form of transportation on the narrow streets. Might be a nice place to visit after I win the lottery.

If you go to google earth > La Perdoma, Tenerife, then bring up those little camera thingies, you'll get some great pictures of my village. :2tup:

If you decide to look at those photos of our village - when you get to camera 146 Carretera Tenerife 212-La Ermita, spin it round until you get the silver jeep parked next to Rincon de Mario (a great pork & chicken restaurant) BTW, the jeep's there every day while the guy's at work. If you look behind the jeep, you'll see a pale blue apartment block, and to the left of it a bit of a pink block. Over the pink you,ll see a splash of white. That's my terrace. :2tup: We look out over those beautiful gardens. :2tup:

Alantf, you have no idea how funny that strikes me. If anyone 15 or 20 years ago said I could do that it would be considered science fiction and/or what are you smoking today. Now it is so common place that it is expected in almost every location.

That's okay with me. As long as I am law abiding and a decent human being there is no reason to be upset IMHO. Let them watch, they will get bored eventually.
