Loction Map

Dupo or Patrick,

Can't see the location map. I see everything (the dots etc.) except the background map itself. Instead it is gray with "Image unavailable" water marked into it. Everything seems to work ok. If I click on join I see the word balloon asking me to move the dot. I see all the side bar stuff and pictures of members if I move over various dots. Just no background map to show me where I am.

I use FF but the same thing happens when I open in IE.

I just checked, and I'm having the same issue. I'm on IE7. I would assume its on the frappr map site server and will be fixed, unless someone made some type of change on our end.

We have no control over the Location Map site. You should take up the issue with Frappr.

Well, yes somebody should. It's been broken for several weeks.....at least. I've mentiond it here before. I don't remember seeing a "contact us" link but will look again.

Edit: I just sent a message to the "administrator" of the map page. I'm guessing it will come back to Dupo, since he is the one that created it.

I'm just saying that the map is not hosted on this site and neither Dupo nor myself have any control over the application side of that particular website. The company responsible for serving the images/flash is Platial.com, which run many different types of social networking apps. Just looking through their site, it's not just this one that's having an issue.

Maybe we should just remove the link until their issues are worked out.
