Lube your brake lever: A Public Service Announcement

I've noticed that a lot of riders seem to neglect lubing some points on their bikes, namely their brake levers. I know I have! Today I pulled off my brake lever and noticed that the bolt that holds the lever on as well as the hole on the lever the bolt goes through was absolutely gunked up with gooey, sticky "lube". Who knows how long it has been since it was cleaned and lubed properly? After cleaning it up and lubing it with some Dupont Teflon spray lube, the action of the brake lever made me simply giddy!

So lube your brake lever! Do it! Now!

That reminds me, I should give my clutch lever a shot of DuPont.
