Hi Folks

I’m a Scot, I’m a few days away from being 60 years old and I’m returning to biking after a five years hiatus while I was living in Vietnam, Burma and Thailand. I currently live in Andalucia in southern Spain and I have been riding motorcycles since I passed my test back in 1979.

I have mostly owned bigger bikes, but I am now interested in whether I can get my motorcycle fun while using less fuel and spending less money. To find out, I recently bought a 2004 GZ250 here in Spain and, after I send some time sorting it out, my wife and I are hoping to do some touring on it this year, perhaps including a trip to the Rif Mountains in Morocco.

My wife and I also run a blog site; The Motorcycle Minimalists (https://motorcycleminimalists.home.blog/ ) about our plans for minimalist 250 touring on the Marauder.

Thanks for reading

Welcome to the forum. Looks like you got a bike in really good shape. Riding tandem, I hope it will be enough bike for the two of you. Enjoy the site and what it has to offer.
