Hello from Tasmania, Australia.

Thanks for adding me to the forum.
I have almost finished rebuilding and semi restoring a 1985 DR250S that I was working on over the past 18x months.

A GZ250 Marauder came up for sale locally last weekend and I snapped it up thinking I would use the engine and electrics in a spare DR frame I have at home, the engine is quite different in how it fits the GZ frame though.

My thoughts now are to clean the GZ up, replace the tyres, get it working spot on and maybe sell it.

Love these engines and learnt a lot when I rebuilt the DR as I replaced everything from the piston and rings up with parts from China.

Will look through the forums and read up on a few things.
I will also start a build/maintenance thread once I start working on the GZ.

Cheers
Shane
