clutch Washer position??

Hi. I did the stupid thing, when I took apart the clutch I did not pay attention to the position of the two washer, the seat wave washer and the wave washer, they are on the clutch cage one is flat and the other is concave does any body know how the concave washer goes ? Concave face up or down?

There is a service manual available on here for download.

Hope it will answer your question 'cause I don't think too many here even know what the inside of the clutch looks like.......including me.

yeah try downloading the manual and if that does not work you can try to call your local suzuki dealer and ask to speak the the service dept. more times than not they will be happy to assist you when you are having a problem with repairing your bike. they can usually look up the answer in their manual and let you know what goes where..

The Parts manual actually has better exploded diagrams of how parts fit together. It's in the troubleshooting forum in the same post as the service manual.

I have recently replaced my clutch and had the same problem, however, by looking very carefully at the parts manual, it appears that the washer is inserted in a concave position, meaning that the lower end is located closest to the clutch shaft. The bike has been working fine since.
