Re: Rear Suspension

I am pretty sure there is paint available to adher to a flexing metal coil but I have no experience with it. I'm a rattle can and no moving parts kinda guy.

Re: Rear Suspension

yeah i got spray paint but i dont want to paint the whole thing. Cant figure it out. Looks like i can twist it forever then maybe it would come out, but i dont want to attempt it and have it not be equal with the other side

Re: Rear Suspension

Not too sure if you can remove the springs without a lot of effort and equipment. This may be one mod to pass up.

You can't remove the spring from the shock without ruining the whole assembly  .

Re: Rear Suspension

I didnt paint it but when putting it back on was rough. Seemed like it was just a little to low to hook into hole so i kept twisting the shock thinking it would change hight to reach to hook on as normal. But after a few tries it hit me, I lifted up the back of bike and told my wife to slip it on and BINGO, it went on Not sure if the twisting did anything to the shock like made it harder or softer ride.
