removing generator cover cap
I'm trying to do a valve adjustment and am using the directions given in an earlier post (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5061&hilit=valve+adjustment+to ol). The problem is that I can't remove the generator cover cap; WD-40 isn't helping. Any suggestions? Either for getting that cap off or for doing the adjustment without removing the cap?

A large flat washer would likely do the trick too.

But why would anyone want to be anywhere but here? |

But, to stay on topic, a Canadian Maple leaf, since it is thinner, would work better if that slot were banged up and not full size! |

Re: removing generator cover cap
I can't get it off either, I put it on blocks and in 5th gear, then rotate the rear wheel until the mark appears in the window under the bolt that you can loosen.
