TMI

Is there any way to get the info posts at the top of each page into an "Info Files" under the "Welcome" and get them off each page?

By using the new "View unread posts" almost exclusively, I almost never see those so it's not an annoyance for me.......so maybe I don't fully appreciate the question. They don't appear while actually reading messages, do they ??

Re: TMI

Just a little redundant, thats all. I like to review the previous post when I read a new message so I don't really use the "View New Posts" link.

Give it a try. The previous message is always available just by scrolling up.
And it is "unread" not "new". There is a difference.

Re: TMI

Sarris,

I blatantly ignored this thread because I had no real answer for you and didn't want to step on Dupo's toes here, but we have a FAQ content mod on here that is able to move most of those threads you're talking about into one or many pages accessible by a single link. And we now have a home page that should be able to hold most, if not all of those things on its own.

The issue is that it takes time to build these pages and I don't think either of us have a lot of free time on our hands to do it.

I'll work on it though and put it in the task list.

FYI, it bugs me too.

Re: TMI

I must have missed this topic along the way, first time i seen it.

So what you are saying is get the global topics that show up above all others off the page ... and put them into ONE post or more stickied in the welcome section?

I guess that wouldnt be too hard. And yes, its a time thing ...... i have a mess in my life going on right now ... getting stuff like this done is on the backburner. Things WILL change for me very soon and i'll have the time to do ALOT more stuff on here.

I might have the time tonight ... looks like im free ...
