2005 Suzuki GZ250

Hello all, good to be part of the group!

I’m a pretty handy guy, but need a little guidance . The bike I got looks pretty clean but some ripped the wiring from the handle bars....on both sides. The rest of the wiring harness looks to be in a good shape.....however I had to buy a new right hand starter switch, and a left hand lights and horn switch, and if course the wiring colors dont match.

I don’t mind splicing wires but how do I know which wires to splice?

Next question.... I would like to be able to see if the bike will turn over, so I need all the wiring connected to do that? Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forum. Your manual should have the wiring diagram in it and I believe one of the recent new members posted a great wiring diagram that is easy to read and follow. Just do the search.

Good luck with your project.

I found the wiring diagram in the Trouble Shooting section of the forum. Look at the posting by GUNK on Feb. 1st. Hope that helps.
