ebay abd brake pads

I'm just passing this on from lessons learned. Stay away from the aftermarket pads on ebay. Both the metal mounting pad and brake material are out of spec and do not properly fit the caliper properly. This is the third set that I was asked to install for friends and after seeing what their problems were I want to pass this on. The pad mounting is too wide hitting the caliper casing and the pad material tend to be too thick making install impossible without trimming. Besides you really don't save that much over factory pads.

Re: ebay abd brake pads

Good tip. Thanks.

When it comes to the essentials of the motorcycle - brakes, wheels, frame - I think everyone should prefer OEM over AM.
