Tail tray
Finally getting around to a tailbox. Today I put the shelf on (14x17 black plastic cutting board)
and I have to redo the brace. It is in the middle of the shelf and leaves too much overhanging. I read another entry where a vice and socket was used to create a curve rather than a sharp bend. I don't have access to a vice, so, I clamped my strap between two 2x4's. The redo will involve 2 additional straps bent at the angle needed to provide rearward support, attached to the existing bolt. The box comes next paycheck, but, this worked to get groceries home this evening. Hey, poor folks got poor ways...

Re: Tail tray
That should work quite nicely.
