7/8 bar throttle tightner?

Hi All,
so my throttle and turn signal are as tight as i dare without breaking or stripping but they still spin on the bars any tricks or something i can try to get them tight enough so they don't spin on the bars, I was thinking some electric tape but wanted to see what others might know on how to fix the issue.

Theres supposed to be a molded pin in the switch and a hole in the handlebars. Without the switches pinned you can tighten til the sun goes down and theyll still spin.
