Snow flakes

Snow flakes are really neat when they are this big and fluffy.

Re: Snow flakes

Wow, neat pics WW. Thanks for sharing. We do not get much of the White stuff around my area. It sure is beautiful.

Re: Snow flakes

The weather folks are predicting a lot more in the next couple days. Luckily the temps will be a shade over freezing so it will melt and drain away. If I really need a snow fix I can drive up to Whistler for a coffee and trek through mountains of the stuff.
Hmm, what am I doing tomorrow? Could be a fair test of my new Hankook I-Pike winter tires. Gotta check my TO DO list first.

Re: Snow flakes

Yeah it sucks, all we got to look forward to is sunny and 65 degrees...

Did a 250 mile Saturday and rode today, we have had some awesome weather.

You do live in a beautiful place.

Re: Snow flakes

JWR, you too live in a beautiful area. When I was down to Tenn and N.C. in 2007 (4th of July weekend)I was really impressed with the landscape of the entire area. I really can't say enough about the wonderful folks I met and their friendliness towards a stranger. I even had a few laughs with the poor fellow who accidently folded the right rear side of my car with his F-150. He was absolutely beside himself and quite upset about it all but silly sh*t does happen in busy gas station parking lots.

Re: Snow flakes

Ah. I remember those days, with snowstorms and 3-4' of snow and ice, (on the roads too), and that's one of the reasons I moved south to Florida. Now I only have to put up with the occasional tropical storm or hurricane that brushes by where I live. I went for ride yesterday in 70 degree sunshine and it was much nicer than when I had to drive around in a full sized Desert Storm Hummer to get to work or go to the grocery store. The snow is beautiful though when it's clean like that.

Just remember there are two kinds of Yankees. There are Yankees and Damn Yankees. The first comes to visit and spend their money and the other comes and stays. I'm a Damn Yahkee.

When I first moved to Squamish B.C. I soon learned that B.C. was short for Bring Cash.
