Armistice Day
Always remember those who gave. Read about this man and it will be hard to ever forget. We are very lucky today.

Thank you Fawlty. Stories like this one make me feel very small and undeserving compared to the Vets who were willing to give their all to provide future generations with a free world to live in. Thank You for Your Service is not near enough for those who served.

Yesterday (when fawlty posted) was special in another respect. The anniversary of the end of the first world war, in 1918..... The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. In England we wear poppies to symbolise the fields full of poppies that dominated the fields of France, where the murderous battles took place..... A reminder of the MILLIONS who were killed.
