Dos and Don'ts

Some of you may have read my posts regarding putting new seals on my front forks. Update is that it was successful. HOWEVER, when I installed the front wheel and tightened down the axle, I didn't realize that the speedometer housing rotated as I tightened it down. Bottom line, I am now replacing the speedo cable because when the housing rotated, I kinked the line and when I took it for a test ride the cable snapped.

Just thought I would post this so that you all would be aware of what not to do.
