Hi from Seattle Washington

Hi All,

I'm Robert, I live in the Seattle area and ride year round in almost all weather (ice, snow, and lightning are my only pet peeves). My commuter bike is a 2007 Honda 919 and I love riding.

Recently I bought a seized 2007 GZ250 for cheap price. Originally I was going to flip it, but now I'm dreaming of chopping it into a neat little scrambler or bobber. Which is why I'm here

Unfortunately I'm still trying to get the bike to fire up. But after I get that out of the way I think it will be a fun project.

I also want to thank everyone for the great resources provided here as I've been lurking very hard until today when I decided to join the community.

I hope you are all staying safe during the pandemic and remember to keep it on one wheel.

Welcome. Enjoy and keep learning. It is a site full of lots of information on the GZ. I hope you provide pics as your bobber project progresses. Ride safe.

Hi VSR, I found bobber kits for different Suzuki models (like this one) Do you know if there is a similar resource for the GZ?

Thanks,
Robert

I haven't really looked into bobber kits as that is not my style. The best I can offer you is to do the research. Sorry I can't be of much help there. Perhaps another member will come on and provide some info for you. Good luck with your search.
