Needle Jet Question

Going thru the parts manual, I noticed that the needle jet (jet needle?) is listed as one with the slots cut and adjustable by a C clip. I called my local dealer with the part numbers and I can get both for about $15.00 US. Does anyone know if this will work in my carb that has the single washer that is discussed in the needle washer topic? I’d like a little more adjustability instead of just moving the washer/spacer.
