"Remodeled" 2001 GZ250
I recently completed a "remodel" of my 2001 GZ250. Let me here your guys opinion on it. I love the new look and couldn't be more happy with the turn out. The first is what it started out as. These pictures are not the finished product, I do not have a picture of it finished yet because the sun has not wanted to cooperate with me. The only thing different is the new taillight is mounted.

Nice! Were you going for the Bengals color theme? Can't wait to see it completed.

Not a fan of bobbers and the like but I gotta say your bike is just plain sweet. The color makes it stand out.
Now.....................do you realize you just desecrated the best paint and trim of all the GZ colors and trim since the beginning of time????? But a lot of for your efforts and very nice appearance. Well done and waiting for the completion of the bike. |

Looks nice! Always like the look of a blacked out engine/exhaust.

Thanks! I love the blacked out exhaust and engine too, it goes perfectly, in my opinion, with the burnt orange. It was an extremely fun build, the three main parts I had to buy were the handlebars, a new clamp on air filter, and a new tail light. There is still some slight modifications that I want to do with it but I don't have the money right now. Thanks everyone for all the positive feed back I have progress pictures that im going to work on uploading to my album.

Pretty slick, I'm looking to do similar to my gz250 too including forward controls but can't find any that fit. I'm sure I'll have to fabricate something, unless anyone knows of some clamp ons that will work for the gz250.
