Was down at the local StarBucks this afternoon. Heard from a couple friends that one of our coffee buds died as a result of wildlife.
The gal in question was touring in the U.S. when she caught a deer as it ran out on the road. Bike was likely written off. Off to the hospital with only a broken arm. Sounded very fortunate until she had a totally unexpected cardiac arrest and passed away. Being an experienced rider of 52 years old kinda sucks when this happens. Really really ride safe guys an gals.
