Tach

What's the best aftermarket tachometer or speedometer assembly with a tach that fits on the go? Just wondering

I would just research online. I personally have never felt the need for a tach on my bike for the kind of riding I do. Once you have put some miles on your bike, you can tell by ear when to shift. In other words, the bike talks to you and you listen. Not trying to get spiritual here, just saying that you need to listen what your bike is trying to tell you by the sounds it makes. Does that make sense?

Yes it makes sense I've gone through alot with this one 2003 Suzuki gz250 bought it for 1600 with 4200 miles on it and that was may 5th of last year was 14 when we bought it now I'm 15 almost 16 looking to upgrade soon maybe to the new 2017 Honda rebel 500 but I have wrecked on this bike I'm sure your remember we fixed it had to replace the whole front end and I just want the tach for reading purposes like help for idling speed cause I have been fighting for the right idle for a long time and i just kinda want one so i was just wondering for it and i wanted a digital speedometer but that might be asking for too much anyway[emoji1787][emoji28]

I would just add a tach on the side of your existing speedometer. They are pretty inexpensive and easy to install. Check the forum as I believe there is a how to on here. Lots of choices on the internet as far as tachs go.

If you wanna do it so it looks factory you can get a GN250 head as they use a mechanical gear off the cam to drive a factory suzuki tach.
