Looks like it will work in some applications however I wonder about the added weight and it's effect on the forks and steering head.

That rear rack is probably to counterwieght it so the rear wheel stays on the ground.

Probably carries the battery packs for the equipment up front. All in all it is a real serious set up.

Wow, it is really compact! What bike is that? The cylinder looks really strange and it has a large rear sprocket.
