Hey Water Warrior

How would you like to have this road all to yourself?

Not another bike in the parking lot.

Last day for the store to be open.
If we continue to have nice weather, more fun-less bikes.

Re: Hey Water Warrior

Looks like a rider's paradise, more pics if you have them. ...................Haven't turn a wheel here for a few weeks now. Hopefully spring will come earlier than last spring. Think it is time to top up the tanks with Stabil and gas.

Re: Hey Water Warrior

You know that is the parking lot at Deals Gap, on a Sunday.

With all of the leaves gone, makes it a different road. You can see where you have been through the trees.
We left there and rode the Cherohala Skyway.

I don't get to take a lot of picture taking with this group, as they have all been riding this area for 40 years or more.

Re: Hey Water Warrior

Yup, the place looks familiar. Was there in 07 during the July 4th weekend. Wall to wall people and bikes. Had a rented KLR 650 for riding and wished for the Vstrom and it's much smoother engine. It was a very hot weekend and the KLR was like riding a coal burning paint shaker. All in all it was a real adventure. Drove from here to Tellico Plains to meet a group of Stromtroopers. Had a wonderful time during the entire trip.
As I am sitting here typing I can hear snow plows doing their thing outside. 6 inches of white stuff overnight. In the next 24 hours we will get over 50 mm of rain to wash the remaining snow away. Then the cycle repeats itself. Slightly above or below freezing is a common temp for most of the winter. My friend Don with the Ural sidecar rig just powers throught it all and grins at the rest of us in our cages.

1 oz to 2/2.5 U.S gallons according to the bottle.
Sounds like you were peeking at Squamish over the net. And yes it is a nice place to ride through or to for that matter.

You really know how to hurt a guy. The pic does however show where the GZ would be a real hoot and make a ride a lot of fun.
Oh yeah, as I said, it rained all night and washed away all the snow. Temp is +7 C (45 F) and climbing.
