Good bye Vstrom
Sold the Vstrom 3 hours ago. Got my asking price and all is well. Threw in some riding gear I don't need and it just sweeetened the deal. Do I miss the bike............no. At least not yet. I think my time has come to hang up my boots and drive 4 wheels again full time.
My riding career has been pretty good overall. Never crashed or got hit on the street. Dirt riding doesn't count of course, falling is a fact of life off-road. Don't panic, I'm not leaving the forum just yet. I feel there is still a little wisdom and experience to share with forum members and all the newbies in the wings. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

You do what you got to do.
As long as you are happy, that is all that counts. Later, who knows.

Re: Good bye Vstrom
WOW the end of an era... Parting is such sweet sorrow and all that other crap. :itsokay:
I give it a year and you'll be telling us about the sweet new bike in the garage. Glad you got your full price...had we lived closer I might have bought it myself Stick around and share your vast wisdom as there are now and will continue to be those who would benefit from the GWN way of thinking :retard: :ghey:  Just promise to warn us before you go so we can get email, phone number or something to keep in touch.

Re: Good bye Vstrom
If I recall, you kind of stopped riding a while ago, but you're still here. With or without a bike, you ARE a huge part of this community and very much valued and respected. So, congratulations on moving in the direction you need to move as far as the bike goes and, as long as you stay here, I am good. (Or I'll get a posse and hunt you down!) :neener:

WW, your bike is gone, but you are not! Let it stay that way, you're way too experienced to let us go!
