battery screwed up

my buddy fubared my battery on accident by hooking my charger pigtail up backwards but i have a new batt on the way its a honda gel battery i hope it will work well the old one was a bikemaster is there a type anyone recommends thats affordable the local shop wants a hundred i paid 35 shipped for thishttp://www.amazon.com/HONDA-YTX7L-BS...f=pd_rhf_p_t_1

If it is the right dimensions to fit in the bike go for it. I normally just go to Walmart and get an AGM battery.

our walmarts dont stock the right size for the 01 models i dont know if other years are diff

If you will not be carrying a passenger you can do this for a few bucks.
