Selling my 2006 GZ250 :(- SOLD!!

Well guys, it's sad since I just found this forum a week and a half ago, but I've decided to put my baby up for sale. She's been wonderful, but I've got an offer from a friend for an 06 Ninja 500 that I just can't turn down- all the guys I ride with smoke me on my GZ. So here we go...

It's an '06 like I said, light blue in color. Only 1323 miles on it (57 when I bought it, so I'm basically the only owner), driven lightly, mostly just commuting to work and a few moderate joyrides here and there. Nothing serious. Never dropped it other than gently setting her down once because of the weight. No scratches, dings, or dents! Runs like a champ and gets close to 80 miles per gallon!

And for those of you browsing the forum for bikes who are unfamiliar with the specs:

Engine: 249cc, four-stroke, SOHC, single cylinder, Twin Dome Combustion Chamber (TDCC)

Overall Width: 815mm (32.1 in.)
Overall Height: 1090mm (42.9 in.)
Seat Height: 680mm (27.8 in.)
Ground Clearance: 125mm (4.9 in.)
Wheelbase: 1450mm (57.1 in.)
Dry Weight: 137kg (302 lbs.)
Suspension Front: Telescopic, oil damped
Suspension Rear: Twin shock, 5-way adjustable preload
Brakes Front: Single hydraulic disc
Brakes Rear: Mechanical drum
Tires Front: 110/90-16 59P
Tires Rear: 130/90-15 66P
Fuel Tank Capacity: 14.0 liter (3.7 gal.) 13.0 liter (3.4 gal.) CA. Model

If you're interested, have questions, want pictures, or anything else, just send me a PM! I'm located in Western MD, easily accessible to MD, PA, W.VA., and VA.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Don't forget to try:

www.craigslist.com

It's free and gets a lot more attention than our humble forum.

*grins* Thanks Jonathan- actually posted on there yesterday morning as well... was supposed to have a guy from Rockville come get it today for $2400, but he never called back and his phone is now disconnected- sketchy stuff if you ask me. Also had a guy trying to trade for a 4-wheeler... no thanks lol!

Hopefully I'll get a bite soon! =)

Hahahaha! Guess 4-wheelers are all the rage! He said he needed to get rid of it to get his wife a bike, otherwise she was going to take his... well, of course my husband wanted it, so I warned him he'd be in the same boat if I didn't have my own bike! Needless to say, we won't be getting a 4 wheeler...

HAHAHA, it IS him then... the bike was his wife's and she repeatedly told us to hurry up and leave with it before she changed her mind. maybe she wants his harley now...

although i doubt he suddenly moved to maryland. but it's still funny.

That would be hilarious! You never know, maybe she needed to move cross-country to put some distance between her and her old ride lol!

Well, the dirty deed is done... my bike is officially NOT my bike anymore The guy from craigslist called at 8:30 last night, and once he got his money and his friend's truck together, he arrived at about 1 a.m... we didn't finish the deal and get home unitl 2:30 a.m., and my husband had a flight to catch to Florida that he had to be up at 6 for! But, I just wanted to let everyone know that this posting is null and void, and that I really enjoyed meeting everyone here, if even for just a couple weeks. I hope you don't mind if I check back in every so often, I'm kind of attached...

Ride safe, be happy! :2tup:
