Another Motor Swap

Hello fellow GZ250 owners. I'm Tom and just starting out here on your forum so please be gentle. Will the motor (carb and all) from an 05 bolt right into the frame of an 01 without any frame modifications? Sure does seem like they would. A lot of the parts are the same. I'm great at replacing parts but maybe not much of a mechanic. Thanks in advance and am looking forward to working with you guys.

I believe they are compatible but someone with more knowledge about what years will fit for sure will come onto the forum and let you know. Welcome to the forum Homeboy.

Go to partzilla.com and check to see what years various parts are compatible. Good luck with your search.
