Fuel filter question

Just wondering, has anyone installed an inline fuel fiter on their bike ?? Used to do this years ago with dirt bikes and can't see a reason not to on the 250. I really have no idea if the 250 tank has a filter or how good it might be. Rather be safe than sorry.

If memory serves me correct there is a filter in the tank of the GZ. No need for an inline one. I am sure badbob knows and if there is, he'll post a pic of the tank break down to show you :2tup:

I must be getting stupid or smarter with age. Just looked it up on the parts schematic here. Both the main and primer on the fuel cock have a screen. The screens would stop larger particles but I think an inline filter would be good insurance in the long run. Thanks for the hint about looking it up.
