Nice looking modification. I would have used it if I hadn't installed saddle bags on my GZ. Beats the hell out of using a backpack.

I like you mod. I just installed a sissy bar on mine .so that I could buy a bag of some kind for packing my fishing gear in. I haven't ever took my cycle fishing yet, but plan to this summer. I think your mod would hold fishing rods easily.

Shouldn't be a problem for you. Tackle box on pillion seat held on with bungees. Rod on top of box and under bungees.

I once transported a roll of carpet on my first bike. Had a 6x12 foot carpet and underlay rolled up in a 6 foot length and strapped it on lengthways. Sure did make for a tall seat though. LOL.

Sort of a magic carpet ride. My feet didn't touch the ground when I stopped. Thankfully it was a short ride with only 2 stops needed if the lights were red. Hmm, make that 3 stops, the last one was home. I could just barely put a toe down if I slide my butt over to the side.
