My favorite is my 75 cent cruise control. I've had pictures ready for a few days now; might actually get them posted sometime soon!

Re: first mod!!!
i will have to wait on the pics... i am not mechanically inclined so i have no idea how that is. LOL! you all talk about fixing stuff on your own bikes... with the 16Tsprockets and drilling holes in stuff... it makes me so jealous.

Moe, which windshield did you install? (I'm catching up to you on miles.)

OK, since it came up.....let's try the new picture link. First the cruise control in the OFF position: Next in the ON position: Two very important cautions: Throttle operation is really strange, effectively no return spring, so if you do this, test it OUT OF TRAFFIC until you get the hang of it. NOT recommended for use in town; highway only. Do NOT fiddle with it while you are moving. When you get off the highway, STOP to disable it. Probably NOT for rookies!! Sorry.

Re: first mod!!!
I could swear every once in a while I get "involuntary cruise control." I notice this when I'm trying to slow for a light and the bike is insisting on continuing. I do have an overactive imagination, but maybe the weak return spring sometimes just lets the throttle stay where it is comfy... Couple of times I diverted to the shoulder to make sure I didn't plow into the ass end of the car in front of me. Fortunately a quick grab usually solves the problem, but if you aren't expecting it, it's unnerving.
