I agree that you most likely just need to check the clutch cable.
But, I wouldn't be doing my jod if I didn't send you off with a helpful link: How to Fix a Slippery Clutch: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1568&hilit=clutch+bad+bob If you don't get some insight from this post, then I don't know how to help you |

Re: does anyone knows how much it costs to repair the clutch
I would like to do it myself to learn, but i dont have any experience. This is my first motorcycle and i got it from the dealership and i always took it to the suzuki dealership for every service or repair since it had the warranty, but since the warranty already expired im gonna take it somewhere else or try to do it myselft if its not hard because its too expensive at the dealership.

Is there a small bike shop in your area that can replace the clutch cable while you watch? It is a good way to learn and you may find some one you can trust for repairs/maintenance that you are unable to do first time round.

I would at least attempt it in your garage. If you screw up, come in here and we can help you sort it out. And if you REALLY trash the job, then you can take it into a shop. But there is no better way to get over your lack of knowledge and skill than to attempt it yourself and learn on the fly Besides, you can take real pride in knowing that you fixed it yourself. Not much pride to be had in saying "I gave it to some dude who fixed it for me." |
