Is there suppose to be a "lose tube"?
I was looking at my 2009 gz250 and I noticed there are two tubes under the bike. One is capped and one is not. Is this normal or did the non-capped fall off from somewhere?
Tube in question is behind bolt tube in question is in front of chain This is where the other end of tube leads to. Looks like the fuel valve? Any help would be great Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: Is there suppose to be a "lose tube"?
Yes,
no cap = carb overflow/vent (? actually I'm not completely certain about its function. Someone else may chime in). Anyway, it IS supposed to be there, like that. capped = air filter housing drain. Every now and then, put something under it, pop the cap and tlet the oil/water/grime mix drip out. Put cap back.

if its the tube that comes off the carb bottom of the floet bowl is open its ok there should be a small cap /plug on the canister.the other hose is the over flow for the fuel tank also to be open on the end
