A Change of Color

I have mentioned before about having fork mounted lights to be more noticeable on the street. The triangle effect is great. The LED MR-16 bulbs are dandy and do not have a great power draw and so far there have been no failures like halogen bulbs.
I did some searching for amber or yellow LEDs but to no avail. SOOOO I made my own. I was scouting around for some type of colored but transparent tape and found it. Everyone sells the stuff. I used the repair tape for broken or cracked auto signal lenses. It may not look pretty but it works for me and that is what counts.

I used 2 layers of tape. The bike headlights are actually not that bright compared to the yellow lights, the camera but the camera has a mind of it's own. That is actually low beam on the bike but looks like high beam due to operator error no doubt.

Re: A Change of Color

Just a quick mention. That is a cheap Wal-Mart large cover on the M-50. Windshield, crashbars and slightly wider handlebars from a C-50. Covers pretty good.
