Battery Sizes/Output?
Hi there, new owner and I'm looking to replace my battery but I don't understand battery output. I see that the standard one is 6aH, but there are also sizes that are 9aH and 14aH. Would the bigger output hurt the bike?
Thanks (and sorry if this is in the wrong place, wasn't sure which forum to post this in) Login or Register to Remove Ads |

just be sure the battery will fit. I found my battery(7ah AGM) online at a good price. read the post on pre charging your battery before you install it.

Ah (ampere hour) is a measure of battery capacity, not output.
However, generally, the more Ah a battery has, the more current (amperes) it can output. As long as it is 12V and it fits, you're good to go. Login or Register to Remove Ads Last edited by 5th_bike; 01-26-2014 at 10:11 PM. Reason: added |
