The Main Jet is a #120.When I rebuilt my carb to be a little richer I used a #130.

Not with after market air filter and exhaust.I rode it tuned like that for over 20000 kms.It also depends on your altitude, you may need more or less jetting.

Re: whats stock jet?

so i added a 122.5 jet which i had extra from my fzr 1000 which was nice shimmed the needle just using the shim between the spring and needle clip i just moved it over to the other side to lift the needle cause i didnt have any washers that small and my ixture screw is at 2 1/2 turns, i took it for a ride and there seems to be much better power, but not to much more, . im glad it runs properly though  when i drilled the plug the screw was at 3 1/2 turns, is that stock for the american bikes? i figured it wiggled loose over the years maybe and i saw on some posts that stock is 2 turns, should i go back up to 3 1/2?

You shimmed the needle properly. That what I did, moved the washer to the other side.Set your idle mixture screw with the bike running to were it idles best when warm.Slowly in till the bikes stumbles (lean) than out till the idle rolls (rich).About half way between the to extremes.
