Wheel cleaning rollers
I found a coupon from Harbor Freight in the April 2012 edition of Motorcyclist magazine
that allowed me to buy this wheel roller that normally sells for $35 for $20.99 I look forward to using it to clean and oil my chain Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: Wheel cleaning rollers
What exactly are you trying to clean off the tyre? Can't say I've ever had anything on the tyre that doesn't come off as soon as I get moving, and it doesn't seem to be able to clean anything out of the treads.

Re: Wheel cleaning rollers
I bought it for chain maintenance but also will be great for cleaning the wheels and spokes.

I will have to look into those rollers. Does the bike still use the sidestand OK without additional support needed?

Re: Wheel cleaning rollers
I think I've misunderstood it. When I saw "wheel cleaning stand" I thought it was a machine for cleaning the wheel. From the later postings it seems that it's a stand to put the wheel on while you clean it yourself.

Re: Wheel cleaning rollers
I've used one of these from Harbor freight for years. If you don't have a center stand it really helps when you go to clean and lube your chain or clean the sidewalls of the tire or the chrome wheels. I don't remember for certain, but it seems like I only paid about $20 -$25 when I bought mine.
