I suppose anything is possible, but, a company can go into default on their debt, and even bankruptcy, without necessarily disappearing. Personally, I seriously doubt that H-D will go away anytime soon. My guess is they go into Chapter 11 and emerge as a smaller company, possibly with a foreign(!) minority owner.
